Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission to Carnegie Mellon, you must submit the following items:

1. Common Application
2. Carnegie Mellon Common Application Supplement
3. Official high school transcript
4. All score reports for standardized testing*
5. Secondary School Counselor Evaluation
6. Teacher Recommendation
7. Arrange for an audition or portfolio review, if necessary

* Please send all official SAT, SAT Subject II, ACT and TOEFL scores to the Office of Admission.

Please note: For students whose first language is not English must take the TOEFL.

Once you submit your application, we invite you to track the progress of your materials by visiting Where Am I in the Process. Please refer to your application receipt letter for your Admission ID to gain access to this information.

*Attention students/teachers/counselors: Please add the student's full name, address and/or birth date to all forms.
