Connect with Carnegie Mellon
One of the most important questions you may ask yourself during your college search is, “Can I see myself here for four or five years?” Reading admission publications is a great way to get a glimpse of the university but one of the best resources is talking to current Carnegie Mellon students about their experiences.
These Tartans (a.k.a Carnegie Mellon students) take the same classes, participate in the same student organizations you are interested in and have wrestled with the same questions and concerns that you will have before making a decision on which college to attend.
At Carnegie Mellon, there are several options for connecting with current students. You can speak to students over the phone, through our online chats or by posting topics on our message boards. Through the Making Student Connections group, you can ask students any questions you may have about academics, the university, Pittsburgh or just read about their lives on campus and learn why they love being Tartans! Additionally, you can learn more about the university and our admission process by watching the Carnegie Mellon Admission Video. You can also learn more by following the Carnegie Mellon Admission Office on Twitter.
