Schedule an Interview/Information Session

We've made it easier than ever to request an interview with an admission counselor or attend a group information session. These options are available to all prospective students and their families looking for the experiences of a unique world-class education at Carnegie Mellon.

 

Interview with an Admission Counselor

Interviews are available for rising seniors only. The Office of Admission is interested in discussing senior year courses, long-term extracurricular activities and potential student majors at Carnegie Mellon. We believe that rising seniors benefit the most from an interview with an admission counselor. If you are a rising junior, please take advantage of a campus tour or information session and wait until you have finished your junior year to schedule an interview. Schedule an interview here. All interviews take place in The Office of Admission located in Warner Hall. Once you register, please allow 1-2 business days for an email confirmation.

**Due to Pittsburgh hosting the G-20 Summit September 24-25, there will be no interviews with admission counselors or campus tours. However, the university will be open. Transportation and parking will be extremely limited..

 

Information Session

The admission staff will present a multimedia presentation in a large group setting. During the 60-minute on-campus program (90-minute program when presented off-campus), you'll learn about life on campus and in Pittsburgh, admission requirements, financial aid policies and the many benefits of attending Carnegie Mellon. While the program is presented by an admission counselor, you'll hear from students, alumni and advocates of the university through exciting video testimonials.

Information Sessions are offered during weekdays at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. until August 28, 2009, and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. until November 21, 2009.
