Carnegie Mellon Physicist Measures Energy Released From a Virus During Infection Until now, only indirect measurements of this energy have been available. This new method, known as isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), is described in the Feb. 5 issue of the Journal of Molecular Biology. Carnegie Mellon Design Professor Continues Health Education Awareness Kristin Hughes, associate professor in the School of Design, is partnering with local family support centers to launch phase two of Fitwits, an obesity-prevention program that delivers healthy lifestyle messages, tools and services to children and families. Carnegie Mellon's School of Drama Presents New Works Series The New Works Series includes "Bellhammer" by Dean Poynor, "The Beast of Skitter Creek" by Brian Forrester, "Beneath" by Carolyn Kras and "A Boy Named Alice" by Joshua Elias Harmon.
