Why Carnegie Mellon? I was really impressed by the university’s diversity, in terms of both availability of majors and interdisciplinary programs – plus it has a phenomenal business school. How did you choose your major? I knew that I was interested in business during my senior year in high school. Do you live on- or off-campus? I live on campus because it is conveniently located near my classes and friends. What do you do for fun during the week, in addition to your homework? I like to hang out with friends, work out, and participate in some extracurricular activities. Are you involved in any campus organizations? I am going to be a Residential Assistant next year, and I am also involved in AkPsi (Professional coed business fraternity). What is your favorite class? Please describe. Business and Society – we learn about business ethics and how business actions affect society. Are you planning to work on any research/internships? Not right now. What are your plans after graduation? I would like to work in finance and then maybe go on to law school. What is your favorite thing to do in Pittsburgh (or favorite place off-campus)? Shopping/Eating on Walnut Street. What is your favorite memory of Carnegie Mellon, so far? Carnival and Orientation. Are there any fun traditions that you want future Carnegie Mellon students to follow? Carnival and painting The Fence. If there was one thing you could tell a prospective student about Carnegie Mellon, what would it be? Take advantage of all the different events and organizations on campus. You will meet people from different states/countries and you will have an awesome time.
