Summer Pre-College Programs
Discover Carnegie Mellon! If you're going to be a junior or senior in high school, consider spending six weeks – June 28 to August 8, 2008 – in one of our seven distinct Summer Pre-College programs.
The programs include Advanced Placement/Early Action (AP/EA), Pre-College Fine Arts and our National High School Game Academy. AP/EA is available for students interested in earning college credit or you can explore a discipline in one of our Pre-College Fine Arts programs: architecture, art, design, drama or music. As part of our National High School Game Academy, you will have an opportunity to learn about interactive digital game development through hands-on experience and exposure to the breadth of knowledge and disciplines needed to be part of this exciting field. In any of Carnegie Mellon’s summer programs, you will have the opportunity to take college coursework, meet people from all over the country and have the time of your life.
