Bachelor of Humanities & Arts Program (BHA)

This interdisciplinary degree program combines the strengths of the College of Fine Arts (CFA) and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (H&SS). This degree is designed for academically and artistically talented students who want to develop their interest in the fine arts, while also pursuing studies in the humanities and social/behavioral sciences. The most important aspect of the BHA program is for students to blend their interests and to explore the connections between their chosen disciplines.

This interdisciplinary degree program combines the strengths of the College of Fine Arts (CFA) and the Mellon College of Science (MCS). This degree is designed for students who are gifted in both the fine arts and the natural sciences or mathematics and who have the interest and the exceptional ability to pursue both disciplines simultaneously.
Humanities Scholars Program (HSP)

The Humanities Scholars Program (HSP) is designed for students who wish to combine the challenge and excellence of a scholars program with the breadth of an interdisciplinary, comparative education in the humanities. The top students admitted to the humanities are invited to join this program offered through the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Science and Humanities Scholars (SHS)

The Science and Humanities Scholars (SHS) Program is an innovative academic option designed to enable talented students to develop their interests and achievements in the humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, or social sciences. The top students admitted to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Mellon College of Science are invited to participate in this program. SHS is based on a special general education core that provides an academic base from which students can select a major in either the College of Humanities and Social Sciences or the Mellon College of Science.
Human-Computer Interaction (HCII)

The undergraduate major in Human-Computer Interaction is available as a second major only. HCII is offered through the Human-Computer Interaction Institute and is devoted to the design, implementation, and evaluation of interactive computer-based technology. Examples of HCII products include intelligent computer tutors, wearable computers, and highly interactive Web sites.
