About the Application
Your application for admission will consist of a combination of documents provided by Carnegie Mellon and documents you will be required to gather from other resources (for example: your high school transcripts). Carnegie Mellon's Admission Application/Financial Aid Forms packet contains instructions and all required university documents, including the Common Application, which is a standard college admissions application used by Carnegie Mellon and many other prominent universities. This packet can be requested by mail or you can download the forms and instructions in PDF format by clicking here. This packet does not contain some forms that are required as part of your application, but instructions are provided on where to obtain them.
The Admission Application/Financial Aid Forms also contains envelopes and stickers that you should use to mail us your admissions application and financial aid application. Using these will ensure your applications are handled correctly once we recieve them. Finally, a postcard is also included that we will mail back to you to confirm we have received your application.
