State of Black Pittsburgh
The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh presents the "State of Black Pittsburgh," an opportunity fair and town hall meeting featuring an address by Urban League President and CEO Esther Bush, a special keynote by award-winning journalist Roland Martin and a guest panel focusing on black male leadership. The opportunity fair, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Connan Room, will include exhibitors who will share information regarding jobs, education, finances and family. The town hall meeting, which begins at 5:45 p.m. in McConomy Auditorium, will feature Esther Bush's talk on the "State of Black Pittsburgh," Roland Martin and the guest panel.
